Forest School

Last half term, the forest school leaders in EYFS and KS1 met to discuss what it meant to be a leader and how we could be good leaders of forest school. This half term, the leaders will be visiting the forest area to make an action plan of what needs to be done in order for our key stages to access the forest in the summer term. Children will hold discussions in their classrooms showing children pictures of the areas and discuss how to keep safe when accessing forest school. We are looking forward to preparing the forest school for our peers to enjoy!

This half term, the forest school children in KS2 are going to assess and tidy the forest school area in preparation for the Summer Term. We are going to timetable sessions for each class to access the Forest Area to allow us to offer enrichments linked to the curriculum.
